FBLA members have a deeper appreciation for BMW cars since they were given an opportunity to see first-hand how a BMW car is built.  This was a great learning experience.  Did you know?

· You have to pay for your car before it goes to the assembly line.

· If the car gets a scratch during assembly, it's melted down and they start again, however, this very seldom happens.

· One employee came up with the idea to make a cover that fits on the areas of the cars that would most likely get scratched.  That employee was awarded a HOUSE for the use of their idea.

· There are over 7,000 employees at the plant; no weekend work, except the paint shop.

· No two cars coming off the assembly line are exactly alike.
