The Office of Public Relations & Grants helps the district meet their communications needs and provides clear, useful, accurate information to the public. This office intends to raise awareness of school and student successes; secure district-level funding through local, state, and federal grants; and strengthen public confidence in the district through media outreach and public relations. Services include the creation of marketing/promotional materials for the district, assistance in grant writing; weekly interaction with the news media to promote positive coverage; support for schools in working with the media; and presentation of news and information via the district's website and eNewsletter.
