The Attendance Area Seven Board of Trustees recognized outstanding achievement at their meeting on May 7th.  Students who were recognized as Junior Scholars, based on their PSAT scores, students who had perfect attendance for the third marking period, and the Honor Roll teachers for next year were all given commendations.  Congratulations to all!

Area 7 Board Members Recognized

January is National School Board Recognition Month, so members of the Attendance Area 7 Board were recognized by the District Office and local schools.  Each Board member was presented with a gift and a small token of appreciation from the District Office.  The staff at Britton's Neck Elementary honored the board members in a unique way- they presented books to the school library.  In each book was a placard bearing a Board member's name.  Now, when students read books from the library, they will think of the service done for them by our board!

The Chair of the Attendance Area 7 Board has spent twenty-five years in service to the community and schools!  Mr. Charles Dozier was just recognized by the South Carolina School Boards Association for his twenty-fifth year of service, receiving a certificate and a commemorative pin.  Congratulations!
